The "Waldkapelle" of the Ring family is a site of Marian veneration.
In the forest area northeast of the Poststraße stands, amid tall beeches, a charming little church.
It owes its name Ringkapelle to its builder.
Constructed in 1966/67, it was dedicated to the "Mother of Perpetual Help" and consecrated by Pastor Schlegelmilch on May 15, 1967.
What is special about this little church is the fact that it was built on the base of a decommissioned pump station of the water supply.
This place of rest and peace invites passersby to linger in reflection.
Although privately owned, it is generally accessible, and the parish community also likes to use it for processions and May devotionals.
