Many high-quality premium trails line the Rhine heights on the left bank of the Rhine. On the initiative of the former mayor of Boppard, Dr. Walter Bersch, we have linked them to form a trail that makes the Middle Rhine Valley from Koblenz to Bingen an experience.

The trail largely follows the Rhine Castle Trail, but new destinations have also been added, such as the town wall in Oberwesel and the Prinzenstein above the Ehrentaler Werth in our area. In view of the BUGA 2029, further improvements are to follow in the next few years.

Certification by the German Hiking Institute is planned for 2022. The opening is scheduled for World Heritage Day (5.6.2022).
