The Sunday or Strödersmühle from the Schultheißermühle is not far the way to the Sunday Mill, which is located in the municipality of Bickenbach. It is a large estate with several renovated half-timbered buildings and a vast area of manicured meadows and a fish pond. As early as 1575, the mill was informed in invoice documents of the Toppard Office. In 1768 Nikolaus Sonntag took over the mill, after which it got its name. In 1826 Jakob Ströder moved into the mill, after him it was also called Strödersmühle. In recent times, a family connected to nature has set up a spacious residential home in the Sunday Mill with a lot of love, expertise and diligence. Below this mill we reach the well-developed connecting path Bickenbach - Gondershausen with a solid stone bridge over the stream. However, a barrier prevents this route from becoming a busy thoroughfare, thus significantly limiting the calm and quiet of the valley. Only as access roads can they be used from both places, parking spaces are designed for this purpose.
