The association bears the name ‘Karnevalsgesellschaft Goubloch 1897 e.V.’ The KG Goubloch pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes.

The purpose of the society is the promotion of traditional customs including carnival, free from ties and endeavours of a political and denominational nature.

The purpose of the statutes is realised in particular through the organisation of masked balls, meetings, prince proclamations, parades, children's and youth events, events for the elderly, dance events and colourful programmes.
